The Kerala Police has issued circular in the year 2010 itself to protect the life and property of Senior Citizens in compliance with the provisions of Welfare and Maintenance of Parents and Senior Citizens Act. But the same need to be implemented in letter and spirit. Back up, Interventions and follow up the public and social activists are necessary.
